Don't know what to think about latest affair with prophet Muhammad cartoon printed in dannish newspaper. It looks like the arabs definitively lost (or never had?) their self-reflection. Boycott, diplomats recall, demonstrations ... the oil blinded their minds. Nonetheless ...
Here is the coverage: BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC 3, BBC 4, Wikipedia
And of course the cartoon itself:

Maybe the most sane person in this area is quite unexpectedly G. Bush (?!) as he noted in his State of the Union speech that America is addicted to oil and the way to break this addiction is the research of alternative and renewable energy sources. He wants to cut oil imports from Middle East by 75% by 2025. Hope this will not end by plundering Alaska, but it looks at least promising, because knowing the problem is the start and it actually could hapen (remeber JFK's Moon challenge or Reagan's star wars).
Unfortunately I'm sick :( So my time is now full of lying in bed, feeling bad, drinking a LOT of hot tea and taking pills. Actualy the pills are Augmentin 1G antibiotics (more info here).
This reminds me of 100 years anniversary of the inventer of another important chemical substance:
There was another great sarcastic editorial from my favourite publicist Martin Komarek in MF Dnes. Check it out ...Paroubek, Gross, Spidla a vlkodlak.
My brother showed me wierd route in Prague's public transport schedule few days ago. I just found a screenshot of it on my desktop ... so see it for yourself. It had been taken with default settings just with "from" and "to" places filled in.
Wonder whether it would be possible to find routes with boats or airplanes ? :)
A few weeks after Czechtek I realized the police is the same everywhere. They break laws, bust up people, lie, abuse the power. Police stopped the rave party at Fork Canyon (near Salt Lake City, Utah) the same fucking way as Czechtek. Check the report and video. Quite sad and dissapointing message :(
Btw ... if you know about ACLU like civil liberties fighting organization in CZ, drop me a note please.
