Blade runner 'final cut'
Slashdot mentioned new version of one of two best sci-fi movies ever Blade runner will be released in special edition on 25th anniversary of the original release. By the way the other movie is Stalker.
Just wonder whether after all those original, international, directors etc. edits could this bring something really new ...

This years streat theater/cirque nouveau/puppet show performances at Kratochvile castle are going to be performed from 2nd to 12th of August. Ticket sale starts on 1st of June, so don't miss it and see you there!

Recently seen movies
After quite a long time of watching crap in TV in free moments I pushed my self to watch some movies instead of TV. I have seen:
- Shinya Tsukamoto's Vital
- Bertolucci's The dreamers
- Fimfarum 2
Enjoyed all of them! Vital has excellent visuals (interiors of homes and dissetion room, main hero visions, etc.) and freaky plot of guy with amnesia after a car crash, who is gaining memory back while dissecting his girlfrind who died in the crash.
I would say The dreamers is about "my favourite topics" :) Movies, sex and revolution on the background on student rebelions in Paris in late sixtees. Liked this film very much although it can't be compared to other Bertoluccis 60's reminiscence - Last tango in Paris, but definitely again great piece of "l'art cinematographique". I have to mention the soundtrack - Janis Joplin, The Doors, Edith Piaf ... yum yum.
Fimfarum 2 followed the high level set by first Fimfarum. Excellent animation, picture, sound, music track and stories itself. Both of Fimfarum movies are IMHO the masterpieces ... not boring "run of the mill" Disney production.

James and Vesper
Now we know almost complete cast of new James Bond series sequel - Casino Royale. Daniel Craig as James Bond was already confirmed a few months before, but fresh news is the main female role of Vesper Lynd will be performed by french actress Eva Green:
Something more is also known FBI agent Felix Leiter will be played by Jeffrey Wright, 'M' will appear (whether it will be performed by Judi Dench is not known yet) but 'Q' and 'Moneypenny" will not ... and last but not least the main 'badguy' remains still uknown.
The director Martin Campbell said about the upcoming Bond movie: "definitely darker, more characters, less gadgets". Definitely like that direction!

Projekt 100 2006
Check out the movies in Projekt 100 this year. Looks good ... I already saw The Commitments (din't like it much, but as sunday afternoon programme it was alright) and THX 1138 (was good). What I'd definitely like to see is: "Bronenosec Potjomkin" (aka Kriznik Potemkin iz czech), "If..." and "La double vie de Véronique".
Any1 going with me ?
