We watched new "philosophical horor" movie Sileni from Jan Svankmajer last weekend. It was awesome. I didn't like the animations this time as much as in his previous movies, but all the more interioirs & exteriors of scenes and dialogues were better. I should have written monologues to be more corect, because the monologoues of Marquis were IMHO the top moments of the movie.

The sources (books) on which the monologues were based on were mentioned in the credits at the end, but unfortunately I didn't catched them all ... but Marquis de Sade for all. Anyway ... check more on Sileni.

I visited Designblok 05 exposition in old factory hall in Karlin yesterday. I was quite looking forward, because unlike in previous years, this year was the exposition all at one place. Unfortunately I was disappointed a bit. I liked very few things and I didn't see many new original ideas :( So the best was the old decayed industrial space itself.

Mayhem & Impulse - Chamber

Again at the end of summer the festival of new circus, theater, music and visual arts named Letni Letna was held in Prague. Because last year I saw great "Grimm" performance of famous french ensemble Cahin-Caha based on Grimm brothers "Seven ravens" fairytale, I look forward to see this year menu. I watched two performances finally.

Dr. Schreck klinik - Das blutig kabinted which was absolutely awesome. There were actualy no artistic performanes, but it was expressive theater with great masks and live music instead. Really enjoyed that one, check out the photo gallery here. The other performance I watched was Ningen from french Cirque-Baroque. Although it was good overall, I missed the visual beauty and great artistic tricks of Grimm.

But definitely it was worth to see ... so see you next year @ Letna! :)

I fell into Twin Peaks obsession again and had to watch a few episodes. Meanwhile I found interesting opinion on fundamental question regarding the very end of the story - "What happened to Cooper in the Black Lodge?" I downloaded couple of new tracks from Soulseek yesterday ... few things from Corrupt Souls, Rawthang and Sinthetix. And they are good (very good indeed), so it was unexpectedly quite easy to pick:
