At last! Apple introduced new 24″ iMac with nVidia GeForce graphics cards. The wait for ultimate desktop machine (small but powerful, good looking, capable to run Linux with OpenGL acceleration, with as least wires as possible) is over. Now least popular task to get the money begins …

Un mojito bastante grande

Wondering what could one do during a hot summer Friday evening … and the night. Just wondering, because “this style of summer seems to me somewhat unfortunate” – around 10 degrees Celsius in August. On the other side this Baldrik’s “mojito grande” was prepared on Memos Christmas party!

Apocalypse is aproaching … let the party begin!

Have seen Philip Ridley’s controversial play named Mercury Fur. Don’t know why it was prohibited in England and why just a few people stay until the end of the play. Maybe these were just marketing tricks … anyway the play is worth to see, because of interesting story, stage located in old factory hall, movie like scenes (the actors come by car from outside into the factory etc.) and last but not least on of the roles is Elvis! :)

How web pages die

Do you know how web pages die ? The process is: a decay with no updates for a long time, new version maintained by somebody else, complete abandoning, deletion from server with having no backup, server shutdown and then …. then there is only virtual copy in the web archive with broken links missing images etc. Just like UFO – our old-school Quake 2 clan.

And then … then the page dies …
