Am just reading some some discussions over upcoming PvP patch for Tabula Rasa and i find this post really funny:

Last saturday (23.02.08) I visited new (at least for me) club Retro near Namesti Miru in Prague. Well, this visit happened because we heard that some nasty dark beats are going to happen there. And ... these rumors were correct! DJ Crossfire served us nasty hard DnB for 2 hours. Ok, I have to say some critique, in 1st hour he had some nasty nuissance that every crossover between tracks was chilled and without the beat. You know, that's kind of a problem, because when he served yummy track I start to work on my enslavement (done by the music ofc ;)) and he violently destroyed all my efforts by this kind of crossovers! Damn bastard! Tho 2nd hour was much better because of lack of these crossovers.
P.S. The club itself is looking good. It's bit smaller then Roxy (balcony is much bigger then in Roxy, but main dancefloor / room is smaller), but it looked cosy :)

Among other things which can ruin your usual morning, I found today that one of things which can do that is when you go to work (as usual) and you stumble over a corpse on a sidewalk.
Well it was for a 1st time in my 6 (or is it 7?) years in Prague.
P.S. Fortunately I wasn't 1st who found the body, Police and Ambulance were already there.

Hmmmm, EEG based interface for controlling games / computer for $299? Yea, my dream is going to come true. Tho am bit woried about response times of this device. Ok, they can always make enhanced version as their research will go on.
My guess is that for Quake (or FPS games generally) this won't be such a good idea, but for some strategy / MMO it can be quite nice tool to have. Anyway if this will be available here in CZ am going to buy it just for the proper cyberpunk feeling :)
I think, it's just about a time to develop some new interface / style of using computers ... you know mouse'n'board is with us for soooooo long time so I think it's time to develop something new. Ok, the Viis controlers are only small revolution, but imo good step in right direction.

I've just read that Knigh Rider serie is back (will be soon)! All i can say is probably ROFLMAO@#*($@)*! That's serious funky shit out there. Ok, car won't be Corvette any more, but Mustang (if it is Mustang, who knows in case or american cars ;)) and no more David Hasselhof (in this case perhaps thank god!).

Yesterday I opened my latest addition to Zen part of my bookshelf and read it until i felt asleep. Eugen Herrigels Zen in the art of archery.
Ok, am still at beggining of book, but the most important thing I learned so far is: when archer is going to shoot, he has to stretch the bow without using single muscle. In other words, that is the mystical / spiritual part of Zen archery, you have to stretch bow by your mind. The guy there wrotes that when his master was shooting bow, his arms muscles were completly loose.
Also I learned that shot itself is not so important part of whole process. It can happen. So you stretch the bow without using single muscle, hold it in that possition until you achieve the right state of consciousness and after that shot may come or you lose your concentration and thus you won't be able to hold the bow stretched anymore. It's said that best shot (and for master, the only one which counts) is the one which suprise you as shooter.

According to this article, there is web version of Quake under development. I have to say, that sounds incredible. Imagine that, you start you favorite browser, browse page with game and start playing Quake anywhere you like. WOW. More WOWs to fact that it looks like Quake 3. WOW!
